Badminton Techniques

If you want to improve your game, you should practice these 8 basic methods. Even if you just play badminton for pleasure, you can always find something new to better your performance.

1. Badminton Grip

The right grip is your primary basis for badminton. For greater strength and accuracy, make sure you hold the racket properly. There are 2 main types of seizures: a blow to the right and left.

Use the Forehand grip when your shots in front of your body, and you hold your hand on the handle as if you where a handshake. Keep the racquet face is perpendicular to the floor.

2. Badminton Footwork

3. Service

Serving in the back of the court with a high serve as a good idea if you’re playing against those who like to stay close to the network, for example.

4. Clears

Open badminton is the most common stroke, and it can be played by either forehand or backhand, and overhead or underarm. Regardless of exactly how to use clear, objective is to send the shuttle to the back of the court, forcing the enemy to move away from the net to open the yard.
